Founded in 2003 in Düsseldorf, Phoenix Contact began as a specialized manufacturer of DIN rail terminal blocks. Today, with 4 manufacturing facilities and over 680 employees, we deliver certified connectivity solutions to customers across 58 countries — while maintaining the engineering precision and personal service that defined our first day.
Established as a specialist manufacturer of DIN rail terminal blocks, serving German industrial panel builders.
Obtained UL listing for the North American market, opening distribution channels across the United States and Canada.
Launched PCB connector and heavy duty industrial connector product lines. Opened second manufacturing facility in Poland.

Phoenix Contact operates 4 manufacturing sites with a combined annual output of over 15 million connector and terminal block units. Our Düsseldorf headquarters houses the R&D center and prototype lab. The Poland facility (operational since 2011) handles high-volume terminal block production. Our Malaysia site (opened 2023) serves the Asia-Pacific market, and our Mexico facility supplies USMCA-compliant products for the North American market.
All facilities operate under ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems audited annually by TÜV Rheinland. Environmental management follows ISO 14001:2015 across all sites.
